I started CrossFit in 2018 after being frustrated with my usual routine. I had been working out and running alone for the past couple years and it had grown old. I started gaining weight again and some pain was bothering me and I assumed it was due to the weight gain and decided it was time for a change. I had a friend who had been at Best Dam CrossFit for a year or so and through his example decided to give it a shot. Working out in a class environment was not what I wanted to do. I stayed because I felt so much better after just a few days of workouts; but eventually I stayed for the culture. Working out with familiar faces, joking around about the workouts and competition eventually had me absolutely hooked! I hope if you find our gym you find these things too; it’s what makes CrossFit so special.
